Eve Online Market Scanner/Analyzer

FREE

The (Eve Market Scanner) is a simple program the reads a market log file and then searches for the best deal; and it also searches for the best buyer.

Since the market log contains both sellers and buyers; the software searches and compares each record looking for the most profit.

It also takes into account the volume space of the market in question and makes sure you can fit it in your ship.

The end result is a list of all the market objects and the possible profit for each.
Using this summary list one can quick scan the list and find what items are giving the most profit via buy and resale.

I have used many eve market tools to research and plot out my trading routes, this usually took a few hours to come up with a solid trade route that would make me the most money and keep me relatively safe. I have been in situations where someone’s about to get a target lock on me when my warp engines kick in. And if you’re in the middle of a haul you have lots to lose.

One day I was thinking to myself perhaps I should write a simple program that reads the market and scans for the best deals. After about a week of working on it I can say it’s done and it works. The only down fall about playing the market is that it takes money to make money. You might go and by 3000 shares of robotic arms for 15isk each which will cost you about 45,000isk but then you go and sell the parts for 25isk for a grand total of 75,000isk making you a profit of 30,000isk.

I’m keeping the numbers small just to demonstrate.

It seems the eve market always has some kind of deal to be made. And since these values are NPC driven you can be assured that they will always be money to be made. Now I’m sure the market will fluctuate as your perform trades. Making new deals available in other sectors of the galaxy, just remember to export your market logs and scan them again for more deals.

There are over 20,000 players at any given time playing Eve. Only a handful of them use the market to make money. The more effort you put in, the more money you will make.
