• Destop Blinker v1.4 Release
  • I've completed a new application that displays a image on the screen with a single frame animation. The animate time settings can be modified and changed to fit your needs. The images are interchangeable. Program reads jpg, gif, png, tif, tiff. 06/20/11 (updated for windows 7)

• Warhammer Online Beta!
  • My old Warhammer program has been updated. Fixed some issues that people were having trying to run the program. Error Audio already exits. This has been corrected and the download files have been brought up to date. 07/16/07

  • After a rough installation every thing fell right into place as it should be. No problems or glitches with the setup. 10/19/05 02:22
• Windows 2003 Server DNS and Domain pointing completed
  • Finally after hours of messing with the ISP I decided to try and go around them rather than pay them $40.00 a month to host a server on my own equipment. Araid.org offers free DNS service with applications for those that are set up with a ISP that does dynamic addressing. FreeDNS is the way to go. 10/19/05 12:30

  • After making a burger and playing with the cat I completed a mock up web site to greet people as they visit my domain. 10/19/05 16:30
• FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions Installed
  • Some weird stuff happening. Couldn't get the FPE to work right was getting a error message saying that the server was to old. Finally I just uninstalled everything and reinstalled it. And bingo it worked. To bad it took me about 3 hours to figure it out. Server now has Share Point and FrontPage accessibility. 10/19/05 19:32
• V.P.N. might not be happening
  • Well after looking into the details and searching the web for how to. I've pretty much got the idea on how to build this. But so far with my current setup it would be unable to handle it. It seems that I would need at least 2 more windows 2003 servers running to be able to manage the request. One system setup for AD, DNS, DHCP while another one for certificate validation, and one for V.P.N. So over all I don't want to have multiple servers running in my room. Mostly because of the heat problem. I might have to move this project to a lab in order to complete it. 10/20/05 14:00
• POP3 email accounts available - pending DNS
  • Got the mail sever working I think. Not sure if the DNS aliases are working right. Theoretically they should be. I've created a test account and sent mail to it from an out side source. So far it has failed to receive anything. When sending mail out I get a unable to relay address. So my problem lies with in the DNS. I hope to have this fixated soon but don't have your hopes up. It just might prove to be to much of a hassle and I might just abort the project. 10/20/05 15:07
• Web Hosting Tutorial added
  • I've added a new page to the site, that includes tutorials for doing all kinds of stuff. So far the only tutorial available is setting up your home system for hosting a website off it. For as little of $3.50 a year or free. Getting your own Domain name and free dynamic DNS update software so you don't have to go through your ISP and pay a butt load. 10/21/05 16:04
• War Hammer Online Beta
  • Well after being board for more than over 2 years I've decided to develop some software that will allow a group of people to play War Hammer Fantasy over a internet connection. This is the old GM tells the story and everyone responds to it. This program was build to be ran with Team Speak in the background to allow for voice communication. A chat session is provided along with a virtual table. That has a hex grid on it; a GM can place icons on this grid to represent players and enemies. Its pretty much just like you would have in a real life game. This is just a tool that allows everyone to see the same thing and be able to interact with one another. Once I get a bug free beta out I'll post a link to it.
• War Hammer Online Beta Done
  • The beta is finally done. And it seems to work, now their has been a few issues due to firewalls especial zone alarm. And for those people good luck I tried messing with that software to try and learn how to allow it to work but I ended up screwing up my whole system witch then lead to a reformat. More info has been added to the projects page along with the downloadable beta file.

   

Now that was a busy day. You won't see many of those, I'll work on this when I can but don't think your going to get a live up to date notice on what's going on. For the most part I will try and complete my goals before starting a new project. Decently want to get the VNP up and running to host land parties.
